Our Mission

The Williams and King Foundation is dedicated to empowering children by revealing the transformative power of reading and writing, illuminating the path to their successful futures through a literature culture. We collaborate with schools, libraries, and community organizations to provide kids with the necessary skills and tools that will contribute to their success. Additionally:

• We are a resource for banned African American children's books, distributing to our inner-city kids.
• We supply books, facilitate literary programs, and publish works authored by children, among other activities.
